My knee is killing me. The DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) really took a toll on me. I couldn't (still can't) bend my left knee when walking. When I was walking down the stairs carrying Mason, I fell. Luckily I was able to catch both of us on the railing before it got too ugly. Mason is okay, but since I couldn't bend my left knee it locked up on me and twisted. I already have problems with that knee so this just adds to it.
I had to get someone to cover my shift for Tuesday because Margie got the stomach bug that Mason and Mom had last week. Now I think I'm getting it because I am so nauseous.
I miss you so much! I want to wrap my arms around you and kiss you. I want to feel your arms around me. I miss your touch, your scent, your everything.
I wish Patrick knew how to pour me some root beer so I didn't have to get off the couch. Every time I move it hurts. Matt even offered me his cane yesterday, that's how bad I was limping from the DOMS.
We got some bad news today, and I'm hoping it somehow turns around.
I need new charms for my Pandora bracelet (sorry that was random, but a commercial for Jared just came on).
The DOMS from yesterday are setting in. In my triceps, traps, and neck.
The boys are already in bed and I think I am following them soon since I feel bad.

Monday Madness
Today (Sunday) I hit the gym for 90 minutes of moderate weight training. Mom and Matt came over this afternoon and helped me with the boys while I cleaned the apartment. I was able to get 90% of it done (still have dishes that need washing). I forgot I was on call tonight and when I remembered it turned out they needed me to come in. We had a floor set tonight and it was the first time I had my own section. I was the first one finished (imagine that) and I was also the only one the manager complimented directly. It was a good night. I am sore as heck though.
I am thinking about going to the gym tomorrow too. I have an appointment at 3:10 and I need to clean my car out.
Tuesday I work 12-3 and I am so not looking forward to the ugly weather. The wonderful Margie is watching the boys for me since Matt has a doctor's appointment. Gym today!
Wednesday is the surgery so I'll be at the hospital all day. I was on call Wednesday night but Joy and Sherial said there is NO WAY I am going in. Even if Rachel calls in sick, if I report for my call in shift I'm in trouble. They said I will NOT be working that night no matter what. I <3 them!!!!
Thursday--- IDK what's going on Thursday. I can't even remember if I work or not... I need to check that. I will be at the gym at some point in time.
Friday I think I work and of course I'll be in the gym. Maybe I'll do some baking tonight.
Saturday I'll hit the gym bright and early for some cardio then I think it's D&D weekend.
Random side note: I somehow managed to cut my finger open while I was giving the boys their bath tonight... IDK how I did it, but it hurts.

Ouch!
Boot camp was pure torture lol
We did lunges, squats, side lunges, reverse lunges, and sprints for cardio and worked abs, chest, back, shoulders, and arms for strength training.
I never thought I'd be thankful for a dirty diaper, but when they came and got me to change Patrick I was relieved... until I went to walk down the stairs. I almost didn't make it. HA!
After boot camp I had my fitness assessment, but she didn't make me workout since I just finished her class. She said I did a good job and she can tell I know what I am doing.
We made a work out plan and I'll be hitting the gym 6 days a week. I'll do 30-45 minutes of cardio each day and I'll change the routine up each time so I don't hit a plateau. I'll also do a full body workout 4 days a week. We're confident this is exactly what I need to achieve my goals.
I'm debating taking tomorrow off and starting the new routine on Monday. Give the muscles in my legs a chance to relax.
I have to say thought that even though I complain about the pain I love the way it feels... when you tear your muscles down to the point that you can't sit down, you just fall until you hit the chair. :)

I did it!!!
I had a little free time today and I walked my happy butt into 24 Hour Fitness and joined. I got an amazing deal too. As soon as I signed up I went home to change and get back up there and get started.
I did 30 minutes on the Total Body Crossramp on an incline between 3 and 5 and on a resistance of 3. It felt fantastic. I got my heart rate up to 180.
I cooled down doing 6 miles on the stationary bike. That was incredible.
Tomorrow I have boot camp at 11:00 followed by a fitness assessment at 12:00 and then working from 6:30-9:30. While I am looking forward to that, I'm a little worried as to what the boot camp entails. I was kind of thrown into it because the trainer I have my fitness assessment with was double booked with me and the class so she asked to take her class then stick around for the assessment.
The plan is a week of straight cardio, then a week of cardio and abs, then I'll start some low weight high rep weight training until my muscles are used to this again and then I'll start a High/Low routine.
Here's the stats again...
Weight when I first started the weight loss journey: 270 pounds
Weight when I gave birth to Mason: 263 pounds
Weight as of today: 206 pounds
I'll weigh in every Friday, I can't wait to see that scale move again. I will likely see a big loss again because I know I am holding water. I can see it in my ankles.
I'll keep you all posted on my progress. I hope to build a support system too since I don't have Bob working out with me.

200!!!!!!
This is my 200th post on here. I'm glad that it came today because I have big news to share...
After a long 2 year wait, my dad is finally getting his kidney transplant. Luckily for us my sister was a perfect match and she is going to donate a kidney to dad. The wait has been so long because my dad had to lose some weight to be sure he was healthy enough for the transplant. Since August he's lost 132 pounds.
Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday February 2nd at 11:00 am at Harris Methodist Fort Worth. My sister, Dana, will go in Tuesday night and they'll do her surgery and have her in recovery while they start dad's surgery. My dad is a police officer for a small town in West Texas, he has a wife, 4 kids, and 6 grandkids. Please keep him and my sister in your thoughts and prayers.
I will be taking the boys to Abilene on Tuesday (hopefully if I have the gas to get there) after work so I can be at the hospital with the family all day Wednesday. I'm on call Wednesday night so hopefully they don't need me since I'd go in right as dad's getting out of surgery.

Thursday Thankfuls
Today I am thankful for...
- My littles! I'm the luckiest mom in the world to have three beautiful/handsome babies.
- Cindy for meeting me for lunch Wednesday and for going to dinner with me tonight.
- Crazy cheap clearance racks because now I don't feel bad that the new skirt is too tight to wear.
- Cindy again for saying "You've lost weight since I last saw you"
- The random stranger I gave a ride to Wednesday for keeping me busy and entertained.
- The one person out there that can always make me smile no matter the mood I am in. You've been so quiet lately and I miss you. IMYLM... ...ILYLC!!!
- Ibuprofen because my tooth is killing me and I'd never get any sleep otherwise.
- My kids going to bed early.

One of those days...
Let's start by saying I got two new piercings last week and they are still healing. I started the day out hitting one of them and it hurt pretty freaking bad.
I have one person in my contacts on my phone that I normally text all the time. They were having a bad day at work today so my phone was awfully quiet, this made me sad.
Patrick decided today would be a good day to pour juice on Mason's head every time I turn my back to him.
I met up with a friend this afternoon and we had milk and cookies so that was the best part of my day. :) IMYLM...
...ILYLC!!!
After milk and cookies the boys and I ran to the store where the bottom ball to my tongue ring came loose and got stuck in my throat. I was able to get it out.
Also during the trip to the store Mason decided he would like to throw the relish and it landed on my foot, and now I have a small cut on my toe.
As we're headed home, out of nowhere appears a freaking wheel barrow in the middle of the road. I had to swerve to keep from hitting it.
Then once I get on the freeway my trunk pops open for no reason at all.
When I get home Patrick decides he doesn't want to mind at all and enjoys throwing toys all over the place.
I hit the other piercing at this point and it still freaking hurts. Not to mention my tooth is killing me.
In other news I chose my product for my CSNstores.com review so stay tuned for that coming up sometime in the beginning of February depending on how soon it gets here. I also have it on good authority that I am expecting something else in the mail soon. THAT is what I am looking forward to the most. I can't wait to see what it is.
I managed to get both boys to bed early so I am off to dreamland myself. Imagine that... Me in bed before 10:00. Hope I can actually get to sleep (without crying).
