They have started a page for people to follow Mason's progress and a way to donate to the cost of the DOC band as well as a way to donate goods to be auctioned off to help raise money for Mason's treatments.
Please take a moment to like the page and pass it on, even if you can't donate because you never know what will happen if it gets all around facebook.
I love my friends more than they will ever know.
XOXO

Hi, I found you through Picket Fence Blogs and wanted to say hello. I just read about your son Mason and wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you and your family as you try to raise the money to do what Mason needs.
I have a daughter with special needs and know a little of what you are feeling. Be nice and patient with yourself as you deal with this. There is nothing you could have done to prevent this and you are doing what you can to treat Mason's condition. That makes you a wonderful mother!
Good luck and take care!
As a mom of a CDH survivor, thank you so much for spreading the word about CDH and helping your friend, that is wonderful. Having dealt with our insurance company many times over the course of the first year of my son's life, I just want to encourage you to keep fighting them for the money as you work to raise it yourself. We have had many claims paid that were originally denied, but it took many phone calls and sometimes letters directly from our son's doctor and specialists. Sometimes knowing the right medical term or billing code helps, so ask your health care provider to help too! I know it is a long shot, but in the end other than co-pays and deductibles our insurance covered all of our son's medical costs (often with a fight) that totalled well in the six digits. Good luck!
